SHADOW HOUSE

The Shadow House is part of the bigger project "Solace Retreat" that will be finalized in the course of the next year. The Casita is a refined architectural response to the raw beauty of the High Desert. Rooted in simplicity and crafted with natural materials, the design emphasizes stillness, light, and connection to the land. Clean volumes and a restrained palette are elevated by thoughtful details—wood-slatted ceilings, expansive glass openings, and hand-laid Moroccan tile—creating a calm, immersive spatial experience. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom layout balances intimacy with openness, allowing each room to extend fluidly into the landscape through private outdoor access and serene transitional spaces. Shadow House is a quiet study in desert architecture—where minimalism, craftsmanship, and site-sensitive design come together to inspire a deeper way of living.
